A Mom went to have dinner with her son who lives with his roommate.
During the course of the meal, his mother couldn’t help but notice how handsome his roommate was. She had been suspicious about her sons sexuality but being a good mother she felt that he would let her know if and when the time was right but seeing the two together just made her more curious.

Over the course of the evening, while watching the interaction between the two she wondered even more if there was more here than meets the eye. Her son, sensing his mothers watchfully eye volunteered, “really Mom, I can tell what you’re thinking and you can just get it out of your mind, we are just roommates and nothing more”.

About a week later the roommate remarked, “ever since your mother was here the silver serving platter has been missing, do you think she took it?”

He responded, “Well I’m sure she didn’t but I will email her and ask just to be sure” he sat down and wrote:

Hey Mom
I’m not saying you did take the silver platter from the house and I am not saying you didn’t take it but the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.
Love,
Your Son.

A couple days later he got a response from his mother:

Dear Son,
I am not saying that you do sleep with your roommate and I am not saying that you don’t sleep with him and you know I love you and could care less either way but the fact remains that if he was sleeping in his own bed he would have found the platter under his pillow.
When are the two of you coming for dinner?

Mom

not to be a killjoy but i remember reading a version of this story (only the roommate was a female) like… multiple times back in the 90’s. no idea whether the original version was true but i doubt this one is.

You are cordially invited to the 2013 Community Summer Fanworks Exchange!

What: A massive fanworks exchange for fan fiction, fan art, fan mixes, fan videos, graphics, and other media based on the NBC show Community.

Who: Any writers, artists, or media creators interested in joining! Creators for all pairings are welcome, as well as gen.

When: Sign-ups are due by Friday May 24th. Assignments will be sent out the following Sunday, after which you will have just over a month to complete your assignment.

Why: To celebrate officially being renewed for season number five!

(And lest you be deterred because you’re not a writer, so far we are very writer-heavy, so we would be very happy to have more artists and media creators to balance us out!)

Just a reminder that sign-ups are due Friday at midnight, so if you’re thinking about signing up but you haven’t done so yet, you have three days left!

We’re up to fifteen participants, which is great, but we would love to have more! Let’s see if we can break 20 before Friday!

Joaquin's interview depresses me, because it makes it sound like Klaine is all about Darren's emotional acting and Blaine's longing for the past (which isn't coming back). I need to feel something from Kurt & Chris and to have this story progress somehow. I don't want the whole outcome to just be Blaine moving on totally endeared to all the viewers more than ever.
